Adopt a shelter cat

These are some of our cats available for adoption. You can click the cat's picture for a closer look. Please note that Java scripts must be enabled in your browser, and they must be allowed to open new windows.

Before any adoption we require an adoption application to be filled out and will conduct a short pre-adoption interview to ensure that both you and the cat or kitten is a good match. We want to ensure that our rescued cats and kittens go to loving homes where they will become a loving member of the family.

We have other cats that are not shown on the web site as they are camera shy, for further details please contact one of our representatives.

Status: Available
Sex: Male, Neutered
Breed: Domestic short hair
Age: 8 months

Calvin is full of energy and craves attention because he's by himself most of the time. He's certainly not shy anymore. He loves the company of other cats. He's a little hyper and gets excited to play with them but he's a good boy. He'll settle down once he gets into a regular setting. Calvin is all set for his special person and his forever home and hopefully another cat for company. Right now he is residing in a foster home where he is well cared for and loved. If interested in seeing Calvin please contact: Jean @ (416) 491-3231 or fill out and adoption application on the site www.homelesscatrescue.com

He would be no problem with other cats, as a matter of fact, he would love to have other cats around him. We are looking for a permanent home for himso that he can be loved while being safe and warm. If you think you can help this wonderful cat, please give us a call.

Thumbnail Name: Gabriel
Status: Available
Sex: Male, Neutered
Breed: Domestic short hair
Age: 2 years
Color: White & Black

Gabriel was found as a neutered stray last November in the Eglinton & Mt. Pleasant area. So far, we have been unsuccessful in finding his original home, (still hoping), however in the mean time we must start looking for a new home for him. He is a quiet cat, likes to play with toys and would be much happier if he was the only cat in the home or on a trial basis if there was another cat in the new home. If interested please contact Diane at 416-492-0412 or Jean @ 416-491-3231 Or fill out an adoption application on the site of www.homelesscatrescue.com

Thumbnail Name: Gilligan
Status: Available
Sex: Male, Neutered
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Age: DOB Aug. '07
Color: Grey

Gilligan is a beautiful boy, very stately and reserved. He loves attention and will follow you around looking for it. He gets along well with other cats and is a good eater. He has been with his foster parent for sometime now and it's about time he was shown so that others can appreciate his good looks. Gilligan is with a number of others cats and it would be to his advantage to have more of his own space. He is up to date with his needles, vet checked and neutered. Gilligan needs that special person to be able to show his appreciation to and to receive their undivided attention. This boy would be a delightful addition to your household so if you are interested in seeing him please contact us at the numbers below.

Thumbnail Name: Lily
Status: Available
Sex: Female, Spayed
Breed: Domestic short hair
Age: B. Aug./02
Color: Brown tabby

Lily was born in Aug. '02 and has been spayed and her vaccines are up-to-date. She likes to be petted and talked to and loves her food. Although a bit overweight, she is still playful and could hopefully drop some baggage once in a home where she is free to roam in the confines of the house. She seem to dislike other cats but has been known to get along with the odd one. She will talk to you especially when it is feeding time and enjoys laying on the arm of the couch beside you while reading or watching TV.

Thumbnail Name: Misty
Status: Available
Sex: Female, Spayed
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Age: DOB Oct.'08
Color: Grey & white

Misty is a spayed young female of approx. 1 1/2yr. old. She is grey and white with medium length hair with tuffs in her ears. She has been rescued from the outdoors and has been vet checked and her vaccines are up-to-date. In addition to being quite beautiful, she is young at heart, likes to play, watch the birds, squirrels and also likes to eat (especially her wet food). The ideal home for her would be one where she is alone or with one other cat. She would make a good addition to one's home. If you are interested in seeing her, please call Diane at (416) 492-0412 or Jean @ (416) 491- 3231. Thank you!

Thumbnail Name: Mona

MONA is approx. 5 yrs. old. She had 4 kittens in May 2005. She has been vet checked, spayed and her vaccines are up-to-date. She was a wonderful nursing mother. She is quiet, a bit timid with other cats, is sociable with humans and is longing for attention and affection. She is awaiting for a permanent home where she can be safe, healthy and happy. She is affectionate, gentle and enjoy her humans. If interested in Mona please contact Jean @ 416-491-3231.

Thumbnail Name: Mr. Spock
Status: On Hold
Sex: Male, Neutered
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: DOB July 2007
Color: Blue Russian

Mr. Spock is a neutered "polydactil" domestic short hair (grey/blue russian) male. He is about 2 yrs. 8 mos. old, has been vaccinated and vet checked. He is a very affectionate cat, playful and sociable to both humans and other felines. Loves to play/wrestle with other cats. bask in the sun and sleep in your arms. He needs human beings around him and possibly another cat or two. His least favorite thing is getting his nails clipped, because, being a polydactil, he has more toes than the regular cat and most polydactils are very sensitive about their toes. Their nails need to be watched very closely and clipped regularly. If you would like to see this cat, please contact Diane or Jean at the numbers below.

Thumbnail Name: Noonan

He gets along well with other cats and looks forward to plenty of cuddles and enjoys being held. Noonan has been neutered and up to date with his needles and vet checked. He eats very well, both wet and dry food and seems to enjoy his meals. This little gem is also looking for that forever home and special person so if you find that you are interested please contact Jean (416) 491-3231 or fill out an adoption application on the site of www.homelesscatrescue.com If interested in only fostering an older cat then please fill out the adoption application stating you would like to foster.

Thumbnail Name: Pavlova
Status: Available

Age: DOB July'07
Color: Grey w/a few white end of toes and tail

Pavlova is a 2 1/2 yr. old spayed female. She has been rescued 1 yr. ago with some of her siblings and is now available for a forever home. She is a domestic short hair grey (blue russian type) with some white markings on the toes and at the end of her tail. She is affectionate, likes other cats and also loves being cuddled by humans, she will give them kisses on the nose. Ideally, she should go to a home with other cats as she has never been alone in her life. She would make a nice addition to a home. If interested in seeing her, please contact either Diane or Jean at the numbers below. Thank you!
