Foster homes are the lifeblood of every cat rescue organization.  As much as our volunteers love cats none of us can take every cat in need into our own homes.  We rely on the help and kindness of our network of foster homes to provide temporary shelter to cats or kittens while we work hard to find good permanent homes.

Give the gift of life - Save a Cat in Need!

Do you love cats but are not sure if you want the commitment of a 15 year relationship at this point in your life?

Is the financial responsibility of a permanent pet bothering you?

Perhaps you are unsure whether someone in your family will suffer from allergies to a pet and would like a trial period?

A foster cat will stay in your home from a few weeks to a few months. He/she will be taken to adoption days and posted on our website for maximum exposure and opportunity to get a permanent home. We will pay all veterinary bills and any cat placed in a foster home will first be checked by our veterinarian, vaccinated and de-wormed, and those who are old enough may also be spayed/neutered. If for any reason the temporary placement does not work out the cat/kitten is returned to us.
